Aliases allow long song titles to be shorten to simple easy to remember strings. The location of the alias file is stored in the configuration file

Here is an excerpt from my alias file:

mmh   =  Misty Mountain Hop
wll   =  Whole Lotta Love
ws    =  White Summer
bms   =  Black Mountainside

These shortcuts are case-sensitive. You can only specify one song for shortcut. This another one to get a slash into a song title, e.g.

acdc   =  AC/DC Bag
